Designed for open-ended play
The Alpona set contains 42 blocks across 6 geometric shapes — cubes, cuboids, cylinders, triangular prisms, arches, and half-moons — sanded to a fine finish and painted with food-safe plant dyes in traditional floor-art motifs.
Built by the Nakshi Artisan Cooperative in Jessore. Each set takes ~6 hours to hand-finish; small variations in grain and paint are part of the charm, not defects.
